The band Dickpunks (DPNS) will release a new single on the 25th.
On the 11th, their agency, Hogisim Studio, announced that Dickpunks has confirmed the release of a new single on the 25th and is currently preparing a new album that embodies their unique musical world.
Recently, Dickpunks met with their new agency Hogisim Studio and is focusing on album work aiming for early next year. Prior to that, Dickpunks will release a new single on the 25th.
Dickpunks' new song comes about 2 years and 7 months after their special album "SU:M TIMES," released in April 2022. Having met new collaborators and opened a second chapter, expectations are rising for the musical activities Dickpunks will showcase.
Dickpunks is a four-member band from South Korea consisting of Kim Taehyun (vocals), Kim Hyunwoo (piano), Kim Jaehung (bass), and Park Garam (drums). They gained recognition by finishing as runners-up on Mnet's audition program "Superstar K4" in 2012. Since then, Dickpunks has enjoyed popularity with songs such as "Viva Youth," "Hello Girlfriend," "When You Go to the Pharmacy," and "Shall We Walk Together."
Dickpunks' new partner, Hogisim Studio, is a video music production company that has created music for dramas like "My Mister" and "Itaewon Class." Attention is focused on the synergy that Dickpunks, known for their distinctive music, and Hogisim Studio will demonstrate.
Meanwhile, Dickpunks plans to sequentially release teaser content for their new single to build excitement for their comeback.
Recently, Dickpunks member Kim Taehyun made headlines for dating model Choi Yeonsu, daughter of chef Choi Hyunseok, with marriage plans. Kim Taehyun was born in 1987, and Choi Yeonsu in 1999, drawing attention for their 12-year age difference.
