Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) is recruiting participants for the first phase of the 2025 public work project from the 11th to the 22nd.

The number of recruits is 145, and the recruitment fields include a total of 141 projects across three areas: △public services △environmental maintenance △computerization. This is the largest hiring scale since the first phase of the public work project in 2022, which had many jobs related to COVID-19 quarantine.
The public work project is designed to provide temporary jobs to vulnerable employment groups to support minimum livelihood, while also motivating long-term unemployed individuals to work and securing a stepping stone for reemployment challenges.
Eligibility requirements include △being at least 18 years old as of the project start date △household income at or below 70% of the median income standard △assets of 400 million KRW or less, and applicants must be residents of Paju City. Registered foreigners in Paju City are also eligible to apply.
Applicants wishing to participate must visit their local administrative welfare center by 6 p.m. on the 22nd to submit the application form and required documents. Selection results will be individually notified by the end of December.
Selected candidates will work for about four months from January 2 to April 25 next year, with key working conditions including △an hourly wage of 11,730 KRW △enrollment in the four major social insurances △provision of weekly holiday pay and paid annual leave.
