Dobong-gu Hosts Kukkiwon Dobong-gu Relocation Challenge Video Contest...15-30 Second Videos to Be Posted on Personal Social Media...Total Prize Money 5 Million KRW, Grand Prize (1 Team) 2 Million KRW
Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) is hosting a challenge video contest to draw nationwide attention to the relocation of Kukkiwon to Dobong-gu.
The participation period is until November 27, and anyone interested can join.
The participation method is simple. Participants can upload a 15 to 30-second vertical video expressing their wishes for the relocation of Kukkiwon to Dobong-gu on their personal social networking service (SNS) or send the video file and application form to the Dobong-gu Sports Council email.
A district official said, “You can participate with any theme such as Taekwondo demonstrations, singing, dancing, etc. Not only Dobong-gu residents but everyone can participate, so we ask for your great interest.”
The total prize money amounts to 5 million won. The grand prize winner will receive 2 million won, the excellence award winner 1 million won, two winners of the merit award 500,000 won each, and four winners of the encouragement award 250,000 won each.
The results will be announced on December 6 on the Dobong-gu Sports Council website notice board. Winners will be notified individually. The award ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on December 11 during the ‘Night of Sportspeople’ event.
Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “We need the interest and participation of many people for the relocation of Kukkiwon to Dobong-gu. We ask for active participation in this challenge video contest as well.”
