Entrepreneurship Academy Entrants' Achievements Gathered in One Place

Jungjingong Successfully Concludes 'K-Unicorn Dream Show 2024'

The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 11th that it held the 'K-Unicorn Dream Show 2024' on the afternoon of the 8th at Pie Factory Studio located in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.


This event was organized to share the achievements of the students enrolled in the Youth Startup Academy and the Global Startup Academy, and to provide opportunities for investment, networking, and global expansion, aiming to increase the success rate of youth startups.

On the day of the Dream Show, a total of about 400 people attended, including approximately 350 students and graduates from 18 Youth Startup Academies and Global Startup Academies nationwide, related organizations, about 50 representatives from domestic and international accelerators (AC), venture capitals (VC), and private specialized companies.


The event was divided into two sessions. The first session began with a keynote lecture by CEO Jeong Ji-seong of SOS Lab, a graduate of the Youth Startup Academy who was listed on KOSDAQ in June this year, followed by ▲ awards for outstanding students and contributors in startup commercialization achievements ▲ the first investment agreement ceremony for the 'Cheongchangsah Alumni Fund' invested by entrepreneurs from the Youth Startup Academy ▲ a ceremony and commemorative photo session.


In the second session, ▲ a demo day for promising students seeking investment ▲ an exhibition hall for excellent products from the Youth Startup Academy ▲ live broadcasts promoting excellent products by overseas influencers ▲ technical cooperation mentoring with global corporations such as Amazon Web Services and Infineon Technologies ▲ and a networking program for Youth Startup Academy alumni were held concurrently.


In particular, at the first investment agreement ceremony of the Youth Startup Academy Alumni Fund, the first and second alumni funds were consecutively established, achieving the first investment of a total of 400 million KRW for three junior entrepreneurs.


Director Kang Seok-jin said, “I expect that the students who have honed their skills for about a year at the Youth Startup Academy will continue to make greater achievements on the global stage after graduation,” and added, “We will continue to spare no support so that youth startup companies can grow beyond global unicorns into world-class companies.”
