Planned and operated by parents, the event was organized to strengthen communication and harmony within the educational community through various promotional and experiential activities. Divided into promotional, exhibition, and experiential sections, the event attracted about 3,500 parents from across the province, making it a great success. The 'Cheerful Sports Day,' conducted on a family basis, saw continuous participation from parents accompanied by their children throughout the event. It received high praise for its diverse information exchange and rich experiences.
The food trucks operated by students from Jeonbuk Bakery High School (Cafe Bakery Department) and Namwon Jeil High School (Culinary Baking Department), who aspire to become chefs, attracted a steady flow of parents, providing an opportunity to understand and change perceptions of vocational high schools.
Jeong Yumi, president of the Jeonbuk Parents Association Council, said, "This year's event was themed around eco-friendliness, and we provided time to contemplate the future direction of education together with parents."
Superintendent Seo Geoseok of the Provincial Office of Education stated, "The Jeonbuk Parents Festival is a wonderful occasion of harmony where parents, students, and faculty members?all members of the educational family?participate together. I appreciate the hard work put into preparing the event, and I hope parents will continue to be a great support for the advancement of Jeonbuk education."
