Colorful Performances by Invited Singers and Clubs at Seunghak and Bumin Campuses
Dong-A University (President Lee Hae-woo) announced on the 8th that the 57th Da-won Student Council hosted the ‘2024 Daedongje Festival’ which was held successfully.
The festival took place from the 4th to the 6th at Seunghak Campus and concluded on the 7th at Bumin Campus.

Popular singers Jeon So-mi, Bolbbalgan4, QWER, Ash Island, Changmo, Lim Han-byul, Heo Gak, Yang Da-il, and Soon Soon-hee performed, along with club performances by the cheering squad, Freaks, Streets, Tipsy, Reedmer, Garion, Koma, Yoon Yuwol, and others. The Dong-A Song Festival and various vibrant stages captivated both Dong-A University students and local residents.
Side events such as picnics, flea markets, and plogging programs were also organized for student participation.
Kim Ho-geun, president of the student council and a senior in the Department of Physical Education, said, “The school has been experiencing a series of good events, and the students’ mood is positive. I hope this festival was a time to fully enjoy the autumn atmosphere.” He added, “I am grateful to the executives of the 57th Student Council who worked hard together.”
President Lee Hae-woo, in a video congratulatory message, said, “I hope you take this opportunity to shake off the accumulated academic stress and recharge yourself through this festival.” He continued, “Our university has been selected as a glocal university and is advancing as a university leading innovation with global competitiveness in specialized fields linked to industry and society. I hope you take pride and continue to nurture your dreams.”
