2024 Korea Color Awards GREEN Prize Winner
Hyundai Engineering announced on the 8th that it won an award in the Architecture and Interior category at the ‘2024 Korea Color Awards’ hosted by the Korean Society of Color Studies.
The Korea Color Awards is a color-related awards ceremony organized by the Korean Society of Color Studies, an academic organization under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. It selects outstanding cases in the field of color across all areas of social, cultural, and artistic domains including urban landscapes, environment, architecture, and interior design, and this year marks its 22nd edition.
Hyundai Engineering submitted the exterior design of ‘Hillstate Cheongnyangni The First,’ designed in collaboration with EXHIO, to this awards ceremony and received the ‘GREEN Award’ in the Architecture and Interior category.
‘Hillstate Cheongnyangni The First’ is characterized by the use of both bright and dark colors on the exterior walls of the high-rise residential spaces, emphasizing vertical design through the contrast and harmony of colors and highlighting the wall patterns. The commercial facilities on the lower floors were also well received for being designed with colors that provide a sense of stability and warmth.
A Hyundai Engineering representative said, “In addition to color design, we continue to develop various designs in areas such as residential layouts, landscaping, and facilities,” adding, “We will keep striving to ensure that those who use buildings or facilities provided by Hyundai Engineering can have a differentiated experience.”
