Neptune announced on the 8th that its consolidated sales for the third quarter of this year reached 38.3 billion KRW, a 76.6% increase compared to the same period last year. Operating profit surged by 2754% to 5.2 billion KRW. This marks the highest quarterly operating profit since its listing in 2016.
In the gaming business sector, the mobile game "Goyang-i Office" by its development subsidiary Triple-A showed better-than-expected sales performance. "Eternal Return" by Nimble Neuron, which is serviced on the global gaming platform Steam, also drove third-quarter game sales as Season 5 received a positive market response.
The advertising platform business recorded slightly increased sales compared to the previous quarter despite the challenging market environment. Advertising transaction volume exceeded 20 billion KRW, rising 10% from the previous quarter.
Neptune plans to release more than two new mobile games in the fourth quarter, and Season 6 of "Eternal Return" will also start anew next month. In the advertising platform business area, preparations will begin to expand the scope of the rewarded advertising platform.
