Handon Association Branch in Pyeongchang-gun Donates 375kg of Handon to Jinbu-myeon
On the 8th, Pyeongchang County, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Shim Jae-guk) announced that the Daehan Pork Association Taeyeong Pyeongjeong Branch (Branch Chief Lee Dong-won) delivered 375kg of frozen pork neck (Korean pork) worth 6 million won at the Jinbu-myeon Office on the 7th.

The Daehan Pork Association has been continuously donating neighborly love funds and holding pork sharing events every year, consistently extending warm hands to neighbors in need in the community.
Branch Chief Lee Dong-won said, “We sincerely donated so that vulnerable groups and neighbors in need in the Pyeongchang area, who may be going through difficulties, can enjoy our delicious Korean pork,” and added, “We will continue to participate in spreading the culture of sharing through ongoing donations.”
Kim Nam-seop, Jinbu-myeon Chief of Pyeongchang County, who received the pork donation, expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank you for sharing domestic pork with warm love, and the donated items will be delivered to neighbors in need within the jurisdiction.”
Meanwhile, the sponsored goods are scheduled to be distributed to village senior centers and low-income households.
