Incheon City held its first Public Housing Integrated Deliberation Committee meeting and conditionally approved the 'Michuhol-gu Jemulpo Station North Side Urban Public Housing Complex Project,' the city announced on the 8th.
The integrated deliberation system consolidates seven committees related to housing construction projects subject to the Public Housing Special Act, Private Rental Housing Act, and Housing Act?including architecture, landscape, urban planning, and transportation?into one for review.
The city enacted related ordinances and formed the Public Housing Integrated Deliberation Committee last September, conducting the first integrated deliberation on the 7th, the day before yesterday.

The first agenda item to pass the deliberation is a project to supply a total of 3,535 public housing units on the north side of Jemulpo Station in Michuhol-gu, Incheon (around 94-1 Dohwa-dong). Incheon Urban Corporation plans to build 13 buildings ranging from 4 basement floors to 17?49 floors above ground on an 83,000㎡ site.
An Incheon city official stated, "With the integrated deliberation of public housing projects, we expect faster housing supply by shortening the period and simplifying administrative procedures." The official added, "We will actively encourage integrated deliberations at project sites where plans are being developed and support necessary administrative matters to ensure the integrated deliberation system can be revitalized."
