A poster displayed on the exterior wall of a building in Switzerland is drawing attention. On the 6th (local time), the Lee Jae-seok Advertising Research Institute announced that it had put up an advertising poster on the exterior wall of the North Korean Mission building in Geneva, Switzerland, calling for Kim Jong-un to be sent to prison. The poster is said to have been put up by designer Lee Jae-seok, known as an "advertising genius," and the international North Korean human rights organization PSCORE.

They conducted a public campaign by attaching the poster to the iron gate of the North Korean delegation in Geneva, Switzerland. Yonhap News

The poster shows Kim Jong-un wearing a prisoner’s uniform with the phrase "Arrest One, Save Millions" written on it. Kim Jong-un is holding the prison bars with both hands and wearing a serious expression. The dark green prison bars blend perfectly with the green gate of the North Korean Mission, giving the impression that Kim Jong-un is truly imprisoned. Behind Kim Jong-un, there is a portrait presumed to be of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il. The portrait of Kim Jong-un, which appears to have been hung next to Kim Jong-il, is lying on the ground.

The Lee Jae-seok Advertising Research Institute and PSCORE, who led this campaign, continue activities to widely expose the North Korean regime’s crimes of inhumanity and human rights violations to the international community. PSCORE reportedly filmed the process of putting up and removing the poster while the North Korean Mission staff were not present. The poster was also displayed in downtown Geneva and Bern, where Kim Jong-un attended university.

In 2014, the Lee Jae-seok Advertising Research Institute attracted attention by putting up a poster exposing the human rights situation in North Korea at the United Nations Human Rights Council meeting held at the UN European Headquarters in Geneva. The poster depicted the silhouette of a family executed by firing squad in North Korea for speaking carelessly, drawn in the form of a target board. Dozens of these posters were lined up on the walls of the main hall where the meeting was held and the hall where journalists and NGO officials from various countries observed the meeting, drawing attention.

At that time, Lee Jae-seok said to Yonhap News, "The poster contained the message that in North Korea, not only the criminal but also their immediate family are punished together or executed in front of their family." He added, "When human rights issues are dealt with domestically, they are politically misunderstood or the public does not pay attention, so this time we appealed to the international community where the UN Human Rights Council is held."
