Showcasing Various Farm Agricultural Products and Experience Goods
Gyeonggi-do Icheon City will hold a 'Urban-Rural Exchange Direct Market' near the Seolbong Park Tourist Information Center in Gwango-dong for two days on the 9th and 10th to promote experiential tourism.
Organized by 'Icheon Nadri,' this event will feature 11 local experiential farms and businesses promoting and selling various agricultural products and experiential goods. Icheon Nadri is an institution designated by the city in 2016 as an urban-rural exchange center to promote exchange and experiential tourism between rural and urban areas.
Participating businesses include ▲Ogeon Farm ▲Chamok Shiitake Farm ▲Hayoung Farm ▲Planet14 ▲Jageun Sarang Farm ▲Seogyeongdeul Village ▲Dameun Co., Ltd. ▲Gilgyeong Farm ▲Namu Hyanggi ▲Happiness Basket Flower Tea Education Center ▲Eoreumbakgol Jjokbitnara, among others. The event will showcase tomatoes, mushrooms, sweet potatoes, rice bread, jams, sauces, rice snacks, balloon flower processed products, woodworking crafts, flower tea, and indigo-dyed products.
Kim Kyung-hee, Mayor of Icheon City, stated, "We will actively promote tourism revitalization projects by developing rural experiential tourism content unique to Icheon to realize an attractive and sophisticated cultural tourism city."
