Conducted every five years under the supervision of Statistics Korea, this survey verifies information on all dwellings and households nationwide and will be used to accurately set survey areas and establish sampling frames for the Population and Housing Census and the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Census to be conducted next year.

The survey will be carried out by 32 enumerators who will visit dwellings carrying tablet PCs to directly verify the sites, and some households will be surveyed through interviews.

The survey targets all dwellings, including vacant houses, and approximately 74,000 households in the district as of November 1, 2024. The survey items include 14 categories such as dwelling type, vacancy status, total number of rooms, number of residential facilities, and whether it is an agricultural or forestry household.

Apartments built between 5 and less than 30 years ago will be excluded from the field survey using administrative and spatial data.

Heo Miok, Director of Planning, stated, "As this survey is an important investigation that will serve as basic data for future housing support policy formulation, we ask for the active cooperation and participation of residents when enumerators visit households."
