Discussion Expected on Participation in the Outdoor Rally on the 16th

Park Chan-dae, floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, along with floor leaders of six opposition parties, is scheduled to hold their second dinner meeting. Meeting shortly after President Yoon Suk-yeol's address, they are expected to strengthen opposition cooperation.

Floor leaders Park Chan-dae, Hwang Un-ha of the Party for National Innovation, Cheon Ha-ram of the Reform New Party, Yoon Jong-oh of the Progressive Party, Yong Hye-in of the Basic Income Party, and Han Chang-min of the Social Democratic Party will hold a private dinner at a restaurant in Yeouido, Seoul, at 6 p.m. on the 7th. Park Chan-dae told reporters, "We are not meeting with a set agenda, but there was the president's address, wasn't there?" He added, "We will share the current political situation related to that and discuss matters for possible joint responses going forward."

Officials from opposition parties other than the Democratic Party confirmed the dinner meeting but said, "Since it is a private dinner, we cannot disclose specific stances." Park said there have been 3 to 4 meetings among the floor leaders, but this is understood to be the second dinner where all six opposition party floor leaders attend.

The Democratic Party and the Party for National Innovation are preparing for an outdoor rally jointly hosted on the 16th. It is expected that at the dinner, these two parties will propose to the other opposition parties that all six opposition parties participate jointly.
