Yeoncheon Sureul Art Hall Hosts Youth Classical Concert 'Introduction to Bach'

Yeoncheon Sureul Art Hall in Gyeonggi announced on the 7th that it will hold the 'Dito Orchestra ? Introduction to Bach' performance at 11:30 AM on December 18. This concert is a classical music event for youth, designed to be easily understood through professional yet engaging commentary by a classical music critic.

The performance features the Dito Orchestra playing orchestral pieces, including Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, offering a rich selection of Bach's beautiful and familiar music. Violinist Lim Ji-young, who will participate as a violin soloist, won the instrumental category at the Queen Elisabeth Competition?one of the world's top three competitions?at the age of 20, becoming the first Korean to do so. She was also named one of Forbes' '30 Under 30 Asia' leaders.


During the concert, music columnist Lee Sang-min will provide commentary about events that took place during the Joseon Dynasty, the era when Bach was active, allowing the audience to enjoy classical music and Korean history simultaneously and gain new knowledge in a meaningful experience.


Tickets are priced at 10,000 KRW for all seats, with a 50% discount for children, youth, and university students. The recommended viewing age is 8 and above. For further inquiries, please contact Yeoncheon Sureul Art Hall.
