Suwon Nambu Fire Station Rescues Man in His 50s from House Fire on Maesan-ro

On the early morning of the 7th, the Suwon Nambu Fire Station in Gyeonggi rescued a man in his 50s who was seriously injured at a house fire on Maesan-ro and transported him to a hospital.


According to the Suwon Nambu Fire Station, a fire broke out around 2:41 a.m. at a single-story detached house in Paldal-gu, Suwon City, injuring a man in his 50s, Mr. A, seriously. The fire authorities moved the rescued man in his 50s, Mr. A, to a hospital in Suwon, but since hyperbaric oxygen therapy was not possible at that hospital, he was transferred to a hospital in Seoul after one hour.

The fire authorities once issued a Level 1 response alert (an alarm level that mobilizes equipment from 3 to 7 fire stations with 31 to 50 units) and focused on preventing the fire from spreading, extinguishing the fire at 3:02 a.m., 21 minutes after it started.


At the time of the fire, three people were inside the building, and two evacuated on their own. The police and fire authorities are investigating the exact extent of the damage and the cause of the fire.
