Mercury Introduces 'WiFi AP Integrated Matter Hub' at AIoT International Exhibition... "Leading the Smart Home Market"

Mercury, a specialized information and communication equipment company, announced on the 7th that it participated in the 2024 AIoT International Exhibition held at COEX from October 30 to November 1, showcasing the ‘WiFi AP Integrated Matter Hub.’

Mercury took part in the Korea Information and Communication Technology Association (TTA) joint exhibition hall and introduced its core product, the ‘WiFi AP Integrated Matter Hub,’ which integrates Matter hub functionality into a WiFi AP.

Mercury’s WiFi AP Integrated Matter Hub offers features that differentiate it from existing smart home hub systems. It performs both WiFi AP router functions and smart home Matter hub functions in a single device, making installation simple and usage convenient.

In particular, at the ‘Intelligent Home International Standard (Matter) Conference,’ held as a side event of the 2024 AIoT International Exhibition, Mercury’s Development Team Leader Junhee Shin gave a presentation on the topic of ‘Development Status of Integrated Matter AP and Matter Module.’

A Mercury representative stated, “Through this exhibition, we were able to showcase Mercury’s innovative Internet of Things (IoT) technology capabilities both domestically and internationally, and explore collaboration opportunities with other companies through the TTA joint exhibition hall. We will continue to lead the smart home market through ongoing research and development.”

Meanwhile, Mercury has been recognized for its outstanding capabilities in WiFi, artificial intelligence (AI) technology, smart home, and Matter device fields, playing a key role as a manufacturer in the Intelligent Home (AI@Home) Alliance and contributing to the development of the smart home industry.
