At 7:55 AM on the 7th (Korean time), a magnitude 6.3 earthquake occurred 1145 km south-southeast off the coast of Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, according to the Meteorological Agency citing foreign observation agencies.
The epicenter is located at 25.50 degrees north latitude and 143.50 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 10 km.
