Seongdong-gu Issues 8 Billion Won Worth of Seongdong Love Gift Certificates for a Warm Winter

Last Issuance of Seongdong Sarang Gift Certificates This Year, Sold at 5% Discount from 10 AM on November 11; Purchase Limit of 500,000 KRW per Person per Month
Available for Smartphone Payment at 7,927 Affiliate Stores Including Traditional Markets, Academies, Restaurants, and Hair Salons; 30% Income Tax Deduction Benefit at Year-End Tax Settlement

Seongdong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeong Won-oh) announced that it will issue Seongdong Love Gift Certificates worth 8 billion KRW to reduce the financial burden on residents and help them have a warm winter.

The Seongdong Love Gift Certificates will be sold at a 5% discount starting from 10 a.m. on November 11, and can be purchased up to 500,000 KRW per person per month through the Seoul Pay Plus app. The holding limit is 1.5 million KRW per person.

The Seongdong Love Gift Certificates can be conveniently paid with a smartphone without a card at any of the 7,927 affiliated stores including traditional markets, academies, restaurants, and hair salons, and offer a 30% income deduction benefit during year-end tax settlement.

Also, when paying at Seongdong Love Gift Certificate affiliated stores, the payment fees for the stores are waived, reducing the fee burden on small business owners. This also helps prevent local funds from flowing out, greatly contributing to the revitalization of the local economy.

The district continuously issues Seongdong Love Gift Certificates to alleviate the economic burden on residents and small business owners struggling due to high inflation. In January this year, 4 billion KRW was issued for the Lunar New Year holiday, 10 billion KRW in May for Family Month, and a total of 18 billion KRW worth of gift certificates were issued twice for Chuseok.
