'The Boy Is Coming' Book Cover Decorating Event Also Held

On the 6th, the Yaho Center, a youth cultural house in Wolgok-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju (District Mayor Park Byung-gyu), held a book talk on the work "We Do Not Say Goodbye" by author Han Kang, the first Korean to win the Nobel Prize in Literature.
On this day, 25 local residents participated, and under the guidance of columnist Kim Yo-su, they had an in-depth discussion about the themes and messages contained in "We Do Not Say Goodbye."
The event also featured an exhibition of various works by Han Kang and a hands-on activity where participants decorated the book cover of the author's representative work "The Boy Who Escaped," which depicts May in Gwangju. Additionally, there was a bookmark distribution event featuring key quotes from Han Kang's works.
A representative from the Gwangsan-gu Yaho Center stated, "We will continue to promote various humanities events where youth and residents can share thoughts and stories together."
