Booyoung Inspects 23 Sites to Prevent Winter Safety Accidents

Facility Inspection and Safety Management to be Conducted from the 5th to the 15th

Booyoung Group announced on the 6th that it will conduct its own inspections to prevent winter safety accidents at 23 business sites including construction sites, buildings, and leisure facilities.

The self-inspections will be conducted over 15 days starting from the previous day. A self-inspection team composed of safety and health experts will visit the sites directly to conduct detailed checks. The main inspection items include ▲ preventive maintenance status of temporary roads and slopes ▲ inspection of winter vulnerable facilities such as risk factor management status ▲ establishment and implementation status of safety and health policies and goals ▲ establishment and performance of risk assessment procedures ▲ implementation of the Serious Accident Punishment Act including safety education and emergency drills.

Booyoung Group has a safety management department within the group and conducts winter safety inspections annually. During the winter season, as temperatures drop, the possibility of accidents increases, making facility inspections and safety management more necessary.

In addition, after obtaining the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Safety and Health Management System (KOSHA-MS) certification, the group establishes safety and health management policies every year to prevent serious accidents and provides safety and health management system training to all employees. The Safety and Health Management System is a management system in which the company’s top management declares safety and health policies as management policies and systematically manages activities to establish a safety and health management system.
