As the next U.S. presidential election is underway, Jill Biden, wife of President Joe Biden, was spotted wearing a 'red' suit while voting. Red is also the symbolic color of the U.S. Republican Party. Some joked that "the First Lady's styling was a mistake."

On the 5th (local time), U.S. media including Fox News reported that photos of Mrs. Biden were spreading on social media (SNS), mainly among Republican supporters. The photos show Mrs. Biden returning after voting, wearing a red suit and pants that stand out.

However, among some Republican supporters, there were jokes suggesting, "Did Mrs. Biden cast a vote for Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate?" Red is the symbolic color of the Republican Party. The Democratic Party, to which Mrs. Biden's husband President Joe Biden belongs, uses blue.

Some netizens also focused on Mrs. Biden's previous remarks regarding President Biden's decision to resign. In June, President Biden showed a poor performance during the first TV debate with candidate Trump, which led to pressure for his resignation both inside and outside the party. At that time, Mrs. Biden defended her husband, saying, "You can't define the four years he served as president with just a 90-minute debate."

However, when President Biden ultimately announced his intention to resign, Mrs. Biden acknowledged, "It's time to do something new. It was the right choice." Just wait and see." In this regard, Fox News speculated, "The Biden presidential couple is believed to have been forced to give up on President Biden's re-election."

Meanwhile, President Biden plans to watch the voting situation at the White House on election day with his wife and senior officials, without any separate schedule. It was reported that President Biden already completed early voting last month on the 28th in Wilmington, Delaware.
