As the U.S. presidential election voting is underway, former President Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, is reportedly watching the election vote count with his family and supporters, according to PBS and other broadcasters on the 5th (local time).

According to reports, former President Trump, after voting with his wife Melania at their residence in Florida on the morning of the day, was said to be watching the election broadcast with close aides at his Mar-a-Lago resort.

CNN reported that former President Trump, wearing his signature red tie, gave a speech in front of acquaintances against the backdrop of sparkling chandeliers and a large television screen showing the election broadcast. Large donors and some supporters invited to this location were enjoying a party atmosphere in a separate, larger space decorated with American flags, monitoring the vote count on a big screen.

The PBS live broadcast showed supporters cheering loudly at an anchor’s comment that "Trump is leading in certain states." Most were wearing red hats emblazoned with the slogan "Make America Great Again," filming videos or chatting, while also closely monitoring changes in the vote count. Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson conducted a live streaming show on-site and interviewed attendees.

According to CNN, former President Trump’s running mate, U.S. Senator JD Vance, former WWE CEO Linda McMahon who leads the presidential transition team, Howard Lutnick, CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, and David Sacks, former COO of PayPal, were also present.

Elon Musk, Tesla CEO, who is a fervent supporter of former President Trump in this election, was confirmed to be at the site. Musk posted on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter), which has nearly 200 million followers, saying, "A record number of men are voting. The cavalry, realizing that everything is at stake, has finally arrived," adding, "This will be a huge wave of change favoring former President Donald Trump."

Musk shared a photo of himself wearing a leather jacket decorated with voting encouragement stickers and stated, "I just voted in Cameron County, Texas." He then flew to Mar-a-Lago in Florida, where Trump’s golf resort is located, explaining, "I will be watching the voting results with Trump, Vance, and other great people."

CNN added that the Trump campaign is currently paying close attention to data on Latino voter trends. The Republican Party is optimistic that the Latino male demographic, especially in battleground states, could help secure a victory for former President Trump in this tightly contested election. Former President Trump is expected to appear at a nearby convention center where thousands of supporters are waiting after monitoring the vote count.
