SL Energy Obtains Eco-Friendly International Certification ISCC PLUS... Efforts in ESG Management

Eco-friendly fuel company SL Energy announced on the 5th that it has obtained the ISCC PLUS certification, the first in the industry, for resource-circulating products that can reduce carbon emissions and enhance sustainability.

The company produces bunker C using PFO, a byproduct of NCC from petrochemical companies, as raw material, and manufactures and sells domestic and international fuels and carbon black raw materials. By obtaining the ISCC PLUS certification, it plans to strengthen the competitiveness of eco-friendly products and expand its safety management system.

The ISCC PLUS certification is an international certification system that proves eco-friendliness, requiring strict evaluation criteria and certification procedures from raw materials to processes and final products.

A company official stated, “The ISCC PLUS certification is an international certification system for sustainable and low-carbon products that comply with global renewable energy guidelines. By obtaining the certification to sell ISCC PLUS certified eco-friendly products, we aim to meet the demands of global customers and implement ESG management.
