The Uijeongbu Memory Archive is a hub space for collecting, preserving, and utilizing materials related to the modern and contemporary history of Uijeongbu. It opened last December at the former site of the Veterans Club located opposite Heungseon-dong Administrative Welfare Center and is operated under consignment by the Uijeongbu Cultural Center.
The second exhibition held in the planned exhibition hall of the Uijeongbu Memory Archive, titled "Uijeongbu 500 Years," contains stories of Uijeongbu during the Joseon Dynasty as recorded in the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty. Visitors can also see traces of the Joseon era that still remain around us today.
