Based on the success of this year’s first attempt at the Ieum Job Academy, the Job Foundation plans to strengthen special lectures targeting baby boomers next year with more advanced topics and content, reflecting participants’ feedback.

The Ieum Job Project showed a 76% regular employment conversion rate last year and successfully closed early recruitment for 700 participants this year. Next year, the number of participants will be increased to 900 and reorganized as the ‘Baby Boomer Internship Project.’

Son Il-gwon, Head of the Western Business Division at the Gyeonggi Job Foundation, said, "The Ieum Job Academy seems to have established itself as a project that improves the quality of life and provides essential knowledge to baby boomers in the province," adding, "Next year, we will offer even higher-quality lectures to better assist residents."
