Geuinmo, Geochang County Governor, Special Lecture on "A Grand Future Created Together with Women"

Over 120 Members of the Women's Association Council Attended

Gu In-mo, the mayor of Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam, gave a special lecture titled "Talking about the Future of Geochang Made Together with Women" at the monthly meeting of the Women's Association Council, attended by about 120 members of women's organizations.

In the special lecture held on the 5th, Mayor Gu explained the goals and vision of Geochang-gun under the 8th local government administration, shared major achievements such as the completion of the East-West-North-South tourism belt and achieving the highest population among counties in Gyeongnam Province, and had an active communication session with the members of the women's organizations.

Geu In-mo, the mayor of Geochang County, is giving a special lecture at the monthly meeting of the Women's Association.

He especially emphasized the increasing importance of women's roles in the local community and mentioned the need for active participation and cooperation from women's organizations. He also stated, "We will continue ongoing communication to ensure that women's voices are reflected in county administration."

Mayor Gu continued, "Geochang-gun is one of the local governments with a low population decline rate and a large budget scale, establishing itself as a livable area with high birth and marriage rates," adding, "We will do our best to become the best local government by implementing progressive administration."

The women’s organization members who attended the special lecture exchanged various questions and opinions about the county administration, enhancing their understanding of its direction, and expressed their determination by saying, "We will also contribute to making Geochang-gun a better place to live."

Meanwhile, Mayor Gu concluded the special lecture by stating that he plans to increase contact points with residents and enhance the transparency of county administration through various forms of communication programs in the future.
