"Bring Clothes You Don't Wear"... F&F Installs Clothing Collection Bins for MLB and Discovery

Utilization in the Collected Used Clothes Recycling Program

F&F announced on the 6th that it has installed clothing collection bins at major MLB and Discovery stores.

This reflects F&F's commitment to take responsibility until the very end of the product life cycle, even for sold-out items. Used clothes collected through consumer participation will be made into furniture as part of F&F's resource circulation program, which has been in operation since 2022, and donated to child welfare facilities. Since 2022, F&F has been recycling clothing inventory into eco-friendly fiber panels to create furniture such as desks, bookshelves, and storage units, which are then donated to child welfare and living facilities. This year, simple chair furniture was produced and shared with employees, reusing clothing inventory internally without releasing it outside.

The clothing collection bins have been set up at major stores of the flagship brands MLB and Discovery Expedition. Any visiting customer can freely use them. However, only clothing items of the respective store’s brand can be collected. Bags, shoes, hats, and other items are excluded. Currently, the clothing collection bins are installed at MLB’s Times Square Yeongdeungpo branch, Starfield Hanam branch, Lotte Department Store Busan main branch, and Discovery’s Times Square Yeongdeungpo branch, Starfield Hanam branch, and Garosu-gil branch.

An F&F representative said, “By simply putting clothes that do not fit into the clothing collection bins, consumers can naturally participate in resource circulation activities,” adding, “We will become a fashion company that takes responsibility until the last moment of the products we sell.”
