KOSHA Busan Regional Headquarters Conducts November Safe Workplace Creation Day Campaign

Promoting and Spreading Safety Culture On-site at Korean Shipbuilding Equipment on November 5

The Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (Head Chung Heung-do) visited 'Sunbo Industry,' an excellent workplace in shipbuilding equipment safety management, to share and disseminate safety management know-how of outstanding workplaces and conducted the November Safe Workplace Creation Day campaign to foster and spread a safety culture at shipbuilding equipment sites within the jurisdiction.

KOSHA Busan Regional Headquarters Conducts November Safe Workplace Creation Day Campaign The Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency conducted the November Safe Workplace Creation Day campaign.

About 30 participants, including the Busan Employment and Labor Office, the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, the Korea Industrial Safety Association, the Korea Industrial Health Association, and the Shipbuilding and Marine Equipment Industry Cooperative, took part in this November Safe Workplace Creation Day campaign.


The campaign consisted of ▲on-site inspections ▲the Four Prohibitions campaign ▲hazard sign posting campaign ▲and a safety and health forum.


The Four Prohibitions are: ① Prohibition of disabling safety devices ② Prohibition of operating unknown machinery ③ Prohibition of working without protective equipment ④ Prohibition of maintenance on operating machinery.


While conducting on-site factory inspections, hazard signs appropriate to the risk factors of each process were posted, and excellent safety management cases were shared with participants to promote the creation of safe workplaces at shipbuilding equipment sites within Busan city.
