Dongducheon City Successfully Hosts Grassland Festa at Comprehensive Stadium

The event was attended by key guests including Mayor Park Hyeong-deok of Dongducheon, City Council Chairman Kim Seung-ho, provincial council members, city council members, and about 1,500 Dongducheon citizens, with congratulatory and commemorative speeches following.

In particular, "Kung Fu Panda 4," screened on the large LED screen completed last August, captured the attention of children with its clear picture quality and perfect sound even in broad daylight. The high-quality performance by the Dongducheon City Choir, which took the stage before the animation screening, received great applause.

Additionally, the stage performance by Choi Eun-young, who is starring as the female lead in the musical "Annie," harmonized with the state-of-the-art LED screen, creating an experience akin to watching a full musical. The appearance of famous singer Min Kyung-hoon from Buzz also drew enthusiastic responses from the citizens.

Mayor Park Hyeong-deok of Dongducheon said, "This event was an opportunity for the Sports Complex to take a step forward as a cultural space. We expect to utilize the latest large LED screen in various ways, including cultural performances and joint cheering for national team matches such as the World Cup, which are of great interest to citizens."

Kim Tae-hwa, head of the Facilities Business Office, said, "This was the first time the Facilities Business Office planned an event. It was a new challenge beyond the usual rental-focused work, and it seems even more meaningful because many citizens participated."
