NHIS Volunteers to Paint Fence at Evadadream Home, Partner Facility of 'Haneul Band-Aid Kids' Program

Boolgyeong Headquarters and Busan Sasang Branch Collaboration

‘Drawing Hope Together’ Project Underway

The Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS), led by Director Choi Deok-geun, visited the partnered facility 'Evada Dream Home' in Sasang-gu on the 5th as part of the 'Haneul Bandage Kids' project and carried out volunteer work painting the aging fence.

'Haneul Bandage Kids' is a flagship social contribution project newly established by the NHIS in May this year. It supports the independence of children under the age of one until they become adults through continuous sponsorship and promotes their healthy growth through regular exchanges.

On this day, Director Choi Deok-geun, Seo Yoon-hee, head of the Busan Sasang branch, and about 10 employees from the regional headquarters and branch participated in the volunteer activity by painting the aging fence. They also contributed to creating a safe and clean environment by supporting the replacement costs of old tables and chairs within the living facility.

Director Choi Deok-geun said, "I feel very honored to participate in volunteer work sweating together with the staff," and expressed his commitment by saying, "Through the Haneul Bandage Kids project, we will expand support for partnered facilities in the region and do our best to create an environment where children can grow up healthily."

This volunteer activity was carried out through cooperation between the Health Insurance Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam Headquarters and the Busan Sasang branch. It was promoted as part of fulfilling social responsibility as a public institution and efforts to coexist with the local community.
