Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) is promoting the purchase of multi-family housing for its existing housing purchase rental project.
The existing housing purchase rental project involves GH purchasing and renovating houses, then renting them to low-income households without homes, such as livelihood and medical benefit recipients, single-parent families, people with disabilities, youth, and newlyweds, at 30-50% of the market price.
The target purchase areas are 27 regions in Gyeonggi Province, excluding four locations: Suwon-si, Yangju-si, Osan-si, and Uijeongbu-si. The target houses for purchase include multi-family houses with exclusive areas of 20 to 85㎡ or less, multi-family housing (excluding dormitories), and residential officetels.
Homeowners wishing to sell their houses can apply by registered mail by the 15th of this month.
GH selects houses for purchase through a process including document review of housing quality such as location conditions like public transportation accessibility, building age and maintenance status, on-site inspections, and purchase deliberations.
The purchase price is calculated as the arithmetic average of the amounts appraised by two appraisal institutions.
