‘Now Is a Gift’ Theme... First 150 People Only
Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim Ikang) announced on the 5th that it will hold the 117th Seo-gu Academy on the 7th at 2 p.m. in the Deulbul Hall of Seo-gu Office, inviting singer Sean under the theme "Now is a Gift."
Singer Sean established the non-profit Seungil Hope Foundation in 2011 together with former basketball coach Park Seungil and has been conducting various campaigns such as the Ice Bucket Challenge to build a Lou Gehrig's disease care hospital. Construction of the Lou Gehrig's disease care hospital began in December last year, with completion aimed for this year.
In this academy lecture, he plans to share heartwarming stories about how to move toward happiness by consistently practicing sharing and volunteering.
The recruitment target is open to all residents, and the number of participants is limited to about 150 on a first-come, first-served basis.
