Nearby hotels, shops, apartments, and parks throughout the city were filled with visitors from early hours, and including these, the total attendance is estimated to have exceeded 180,000.

This year, the venue was moved from Yi Sun-sin Square to Yeosu Expo Park, utilizing the wide marine space in front of the theme pavilion, and the audience was treated to a fantastic performance featuring aerial fireworks that bloomed magnificently at high altitudes.

Before the fireworks show, the lightning drone show captured the audience’s attention, especially when a scene depicting cannon fire being launched from the Turtle Ship was presented, eliciting cheers from the spectators.

In preparation for the large crowds, Yeosu City deployed about 700 safety management personnel with active cooperation from the police, coast guard, and fire departments, maintaining safety through traffic guidance and detour information.

Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong said, “Thanks to our full efforts in crowd management, the event ended safely without any major accidents. We thank the citizens and tourists who cooperated in maintaining order and everyone who worked tirelessly on-site in every way,” adding, “We will prepare an even more abundant fireworks festival next year to welcome visitors.”
