Jinju Hosts 'Gyeongnam Jinju Innovation City Day Event'

Communication and Empathy Forum Between Public Institutions Relocated to Innovation City and Local Residents to Be Held Over Two Days on the 11th and 12th

The '2024 Gyeongnam Jinju Innovation City Day Event' will be held from the 11th to the 12th in the Jinju Innovation City area, Gyeongnam.

The Innovation City Day event, which began in 2017 to promote mutual growth between public institutions relocated to Innovation City and local residents and to revitalize the cluster, is celebrating its 6th edition this year.

On the first day, the 11th, the main event will take place at the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) Grand Auditorium, starting with a pre-ceremony performance by the K-Harmony Orchestra, composed of disabled musicians from the Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL). The program includes awards for contributors to the development of Innovation City, a commemorative performance, and cultural events.

In particular, the cultural events feature a performance by Semitone, an LH in-house band, and celebratory performances by popular singers such as An Seonghun and Kassy.

On the second day, the 12th, side events will be held at the plaza next to the Lee Seongja Art Museum, including promotional and experience booths participated by six institutions, including public institutions relocated to Innovation City and cluster resident companies, and eight companies. A mini job fair will also be held. Additionally, to provide various enjoyable activities for participants, a flea market and SNS certification event will be organized.

A Jinju city official said, “We have prepared various events where employees of relocated public institutions, their families, and local residents can communicate and enjoy together,” and added, “We hope for the active interest and participation of citizens.”
