Enuri Price Comparison has introduced a product search feature that allows users to efficiently compare the efficacy and prices of health functional food (hereinafter referred to as health supplements) products, enhancing shopping convenience.
Enuri.com, operated by Summers Platform, a subsidiary of Connect Wave, announced on the 5th that it has launched the ‘Gahambi’ sorting service in the HealthPlus specialty section, providing a more advanced search function.
This service reflects the recent consumer trend in the health supplement market to compare ingredients and prices to purchase cost-effective (performance relative to price) products. It was first applied to the popular Red Ginseng category. In particular, to provide reliable results, only products using the same ingredients are gathered and compared.
‘Gahambi’ refers to the product with the lowest price relative to the total ingredient amount. Through this, the comparison results calculated by converting the total amount of effective ingredients recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for each health supplement into a daily cost are prioritized.
For example, when searching for Red Ginseng using the traditional default sorting method by sales popularity, products with strong brand power were ranked higher rather than those with higher amounts of ginsenosides, the key ingredient of Red Ginseng, or better prices. In contrast, using Enuri’s Gahambi sorting, users can see cost-effective products ranked by factors such as having 331% more ginsenoside content and being 91% cheaper compared to top popular products.
An Enuri representative said, “The Gahambi sorting does not simply recommend the cheapest products but prioritizes cost-effective products by simultaneously considering the lowest price and daily efficacy. Starting with the Red Ginseng category, we plan to expand this function to all areas including vitamins, minerals, and supplements.”
Launched in June this year, Enuri’s newly established ‘HealthPlus specialty section’ is characterized by categorizing products by ingredient, target/function, and lowest price guarantee, and placing the most important ingredient for each supplement prominently, making it easier and more intuitive for consumers to select products that meet their health goals.
