Gyeonggi Province is launching a rental service for illegal filming detectors through the integrated reservation system ‘Gyeonggi Sharing Service’ (share.gg.go.kr).
The Gyeonggi Sharing Service is an integrated reservation system that allows users to conveniently search for and use desired services, including renting spaces or items such as meeting rooms and sports facilities within the province, free legal consultations, and 119 fire safety education.
The illegal filming detector rental service aims to reduce anxiety about exposure to illegal filming in daily life by inspecting surrounding spaces and to create a safe living environment by preventing digital sex crimes.
Gyeonggi Province has added 189 illegal filming detectors, including ▲radio wave detectors ▲lens detectors ▲infrared detectors ▲video detectors, to the rental items on the Gyeonggi Sharing Service, allowing residents to conveniently apply anytime and anywhere, moving away from the previous method of providing rental services via phone or in-person visits.
Residents wishing to rent can check detailed information such as rental locations, periods, contact information, available quantities, and application methods for a total of 60 institutions, including the Gyeonggi Women’s Vision Center and 24 cities and counties, through the Gyeonggi Sharing Service and use the service free of charge.
Lee Cheol-gyu, Director of Asset Management Division of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "To enhance convenience for residents, we are providing information about illegal filming detectors and starting an online application service through the Gyeonggi Sharing Service. We will continue to expand the service areas of the Gyeonggi Sharing Service so that residents can conveniently use public resources close to their daily lives."
