Gyeonggi Namyangju City (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 4th that the third performance of the youth concert 'Blue Breeze: Roof Concert' was successfully held on the rooftop garden of the Namyangju Youth Startup Center on the 31st of last month.
The Blue Breeze Roof Concert, meaning 'a breeze that excites the hearts of youth,' is a project promoted with the support funds received after the Youth Startup Center was selected as the best youth space in Gyeonggi in June.
This concert was the third performance following the brass band performance in August and the jazz performance in October, featuring lively stages by youth buskers and indie bands, receiving great response from about 80 young audience members.
At the performance, busking stages by talented Namyangju youth rappers 'Taerim' and 'Bellosi' were prepared, and the emotional performance by the four-member indie band 'Belrode' left a deep impression on the audience.
Park Mi-kyung, head of the Youth Policy Division, said, "The Blue Breeze Concert is meaningful in that it provides a stage where young musicians dreaming of performing can freely stand and creates a place united by music," adding, "Going forward, the city will wholeheartedly support and walk together with youth so that they can shine in their own unique way."
Meanwhile, 'Blue Breeze: Roof Concert' is scheduled to return as a warm stage for citizens in front of Pyeongnae-Hopyeong Station Square during the Christmas season in December.
