Goyang City Conducts Training to Enhance New Public Officials' Civil Complaint Response Skills Goyang Special City has been conducting the "2024 Civil Service Response Capacity Enhancement Training" for newly appointed public officials since April 2023. Provided by Goyang City

Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 4th that it conducted a 2024 civil complaint response capacity enhancement training for newly appointed public officials since April 2023.


On this day, Jeon Myung-soo, CEO of Happy HRD, gave a lecture titled "Wise Public Service Life of New Public Officials through Movies," covering understanding the needs of civil petitioners, mutual respect and the etiquette handbook for exemplary public officials, and effective civil complaint response methods (including handling malicious complaints).


The newly appointed public officials who received the training said, "It was a valuable time to realize once again the importance of civil complaint response capabilities through the lecture on mutual respect, making eye contact during conversations, asking back keywords, ways to build trust, and handling malicious complaints. Especially, the training was good because it was easily explained through movies."


A city official stated, "The city conducts this training annually for new public officials, and we will continue to provide civil complaint response capacity enhancement training to improve the satisfaction of public administrative services and help new public officials adapt well to the public service community."
