On the 4th, Buk-gu, Gwangju announced that it will hold the 'Mudeung Literature School Performance Sharing Event' on the 13th at the seminar room on the 4th floor of the Gwangju Literature Hall.

The Mudeung Literature School is operated by Buk-gu to provide aspiring writers with basic writing education and practical opportunities, and to promote the development of local literature. At this year's performance sharing event, meetings with famous writers will be arranged, and the works of the students will be shared with the residents.

About 70 people, including Munin, the Buk-gu mayor, students, and residents, will attend the event, which will feature congratulatory performances, an exhibition of works, a commemorative ceremony, and a talk concert. The exhibition will include the 'Mudeung Literature School Students' Works Exhibition' along with a 'Han Kang Author's Work Review Booth' commemorating Han Kang's Nobel Prize in Literature.

During the commemorative ceremony, outstanding students will read their own works and share their impressions, followed by the awarding of certificates and commemorative photos. Then, during the talk concert, author Jeong Ji-a, writer of 'Father's Liberation Diary,' will give a lecture on the theme 'How Life Becomes a Novel.'

Mayor Munin of Buk-gu said, "We hope for much interest and support for this performance sharing event, where Mudeung Literature School students' first works can be appreciated along with enjoying works and lectures by famous authors," adding, "We will continue to develop various policies so that residents can widely enjoy literary activities."
