The Neuldasom Youth After-School Academy, operated by the Yeoncheon County Youth Development Foundation (Youth Training Center), is a project supported by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and local governments to provide healthy growth and after-school life support for youth in need of after-school care. It offers various after-school activities and experiential programs for youth and manages their overall daily life.

Eligible participants include youth in need of after-school care such as recipients of basic living subsidies, lower-income families, single-parent families, multicultural families, dual-income households, and families with two or more children. Anyone meeting these criteria can apply.

The Youth After-School Academy operates Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 7 PM, and on Saturdays from 9 AM to 6 PM. Various experiential programs are conducted each semester (operating hours vary depending on the program).

The Neuldasom Youth After-School Academy offers curriculum learning (Korean, English, Mathematics), specialized experiential learning (children’s cooking, visual arts, board games, ocarina), creative convergence activities (coding), club activities, camps, as well as community-linked activities and special support programs.

The Youth After-School Academy program is completely free of charge except for a small fee for textbooks (Mathematics, English). Dinner is provided, and a shuttle bus service is operated to ensure safe transportation home.

A representative of the Yeoncheon County Youth Development Foundation stated, “Through creating a safe after-school care environment, we plan to provide specialized and creative experiential activities so that youth, the future leaders, can prepare for and pioneer their futures. We will do our best to enhance logical thinking and problem-solving skills so that youth can take charge of their own lives, establish proper values in the community, and grow healthily. We ask for the interest and participation of parents and youth.”
