New Appointments for 35 Personnel in 6 Job Series Including Administrative Positions

Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held an appointment ceremony for 35 new public officials on the 4th in the 3rd conference room of City Hall.

The new public officials appointed as of the 4th include a total of 35 people across 6 job categories: 9 in administration, 2 in taxation, 2 in social welfare, 1 librarian, 1 in engineering, and 7 in facilities.


The new public officials pledged, through the awarding of appointment certificates and the reading of the oath, to prioritize the rights and public interests of citizens as servants to the community and to become honest public officials who communicate with citizens.


The newly assigned public officials completed a three-week basic training course to cultivate the necessary skills and qualities required as public servants. After the appointment ceremony, they will be assigned to affiliated institutions, business offices, district offices, and administrative frontlines such as towns, townships, and neighborhoods to actively carry out public administration aimed at regional development and improving citizens' welfare.


A city official stated, “We expect that by appointing new public officials, vacancies caused by leaves of absence will be filled, enabling us to provide stable administrative services to citizens.”


Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, said, “I hope you will always listen to the voices of citizens, not be complacent with the status quo, and grow into capable and outstanding public officials who boldly break old systems and customs.” He added, “Always be vigilant against corruption, strictly adhere to laws and principles, and carry out your duties fairly, honestly, and confidently.”
