Naver and Korea Federation of Micro Enterprise Hold Win-Win Cooperation Project in Goyang... Also Progressing in Chungbuk and Seoul

Support for Digital Transformation and Promotion of Small Business Owners

Naver recently conducted a small business win-win cooperation project in the Goyang area in collaboration with the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprise Associations, and announced on the 4th that the project will continue in the Chungbuk and Seoul areas within this year.


Since signing the "Business Agreement for Win-Win Cooperation with Small Businesses" in June last year, Naver and the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprise Associations have continued regional small business win-win cooperation projects to support the digital transformation of small businesses.

▲ They assist in establishing a digital business environment through training on registering and utilizing store information on Smart Place, while ▲ supporting promotion so that many users can connect with local small businesses through various channels such as Naver's Yojeumyeogi board and Shopping Live. This year, Naver and the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprise Associations supported the digital transformation and promotion of approximately 1,000 small businesses. A total of 173 small business stores were promoted through the "Small Business Together Store" category on the Yojeumyeogi board.


This year's small business win-win cooperation projects were conducted nationwide, starting in Gurye in March, followed by Gumi (April), Busan (May), Uijeongbu (June), Sejong (July), Jeonbuk (August), Jeju (September), and Goyang (October). The Goyang city win-win cooperation project was held in conjunction with the "2024 Korea Small Business Conference" event at Ilsan KINTEX to celebrate Small Business Day, attracting significant interest from local small business owners participating in the event. On the Naver Yojeumyeogi board's Small Business Together Store category, recommended places to visit in Goyang, including popular restaurants and attractions around KINTEX, were introduced by theme.


Cha Seon-ju, Head of External/ESG Policy at Naver, said, "Together with the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprise Associations, we will continue to discover small businesses that can represent their regions and contribute to revitalizing the local economy by providing various support without hesitation."
