Expansion of Social Participation and Income Increase for People with Disabilities by the 12th

Yangsan City, Gyeongnam Province, is recruiting participants for the "2025 Disabled Persons Job Project" from November 1 to November 12 to expand social participation and increase income for people with disabilities.

Eligibility requirements include being registered as a resident of Yangsan City, being an unemployed person with a disability aged 18 or older registered under the Disabled Welfare Act. A total of 97 people will be selected: 31 for the general type (full-time), 15 for the general type (part-time), and 51 for the welfare type (participation type). Selected participants will be assigned to eup/myeon/dong administrative welfare centers, public institutions, and social welfare facilities to assist with various administrative tasks or perform duties such as barista work, D&D care, and environmental cleanup.

Yangsan City has made efforts to develop job roles and expand placement institutions so that people with disabilities who wish to work can perform suitable roles according to their abilities and expand social participation through labor. The total number of disabled persons job project participants, including those directly managed by the city and those managed by private consignment institutions, has increased from 154 in 2024 to 170 in 2025, an increase of 16 people (10.4%).

Applications for the Disabled Persons Job Project can be submitted through the administrative welfare centers of the applicant’s eup, myeon, or dong jurisdiction by referring to the announcements section on the Yangsan City website. However, for the disabled parking space guide and nursing assistant support duties performed by private consignment institutions, recruitment announcements for participants will be separately conducted by the performing institutions after the selection of the performing institutions.
