Korea Federation of SMEs, Registration Open for 'Introduction to Excellent Cases of SME Cooperatives and New Establishment Briefing'

The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business announced on the 3rd that it will begin accepting registrations for a briefing session on the 12th at the Yeouido headquarters, 2nd floor, Sangsaeng Room, targeting prospective cooperative members (small and medium business owners). The session will introduce excellent cases of small and medium enterprise cooperatives and the methods and procedures for new establishment.


Small and medium enterprise cooperatives are self-help organizations formed by multiple small and medium enterprises to efficiently overcome the limitations of individual SMEs. Although they are non-profit corporations, they have the advantage of being able to conduct profit-making businesses aimed at improving the economic benefits of their members.

Small and medium enterprise cooperatives can have members from the same or different industries considering joint business activities, and can be established nationwide or regionally based on the members' business areas.


Currently, there are 879 small and medium enterprise cooperatives, operating in fields such as ▲manufacturing ▲wholesale and retail ▲services, realizing industrial development and economic opportunity equality among members.


The briefing session will introduce excellent cases of small and medium enterprise cooperatives, establishment methods and procedures, support systems, and support projects. Attendees will be given priority access to ‘free on-site consulting’.
