The Korea Federation of SMEs Achieved Export Success at the 'World Korean Business Convention'

Dispatch of 25 Companies Including K-Beauty and K-Food Products
Signing of Export Purchase Agreement Worth 15.5 Million USD

The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Kbiz) announced on the 3rd that, with the support of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, it dispatched 25 companies including K-beauty and K-food products to the Korean Products Expo, a side event of the 28th World Korean Business Convention held over two days from the 29th to the 30th of last month. This World Korean Business Convention was held in Vienna, Austria.

Kbiz organized the "KBIZ Pavilion" with 25 companies from the beauty, cosmetics, food, and daily necessities sectors. Through promotional activities such as tastings and demonstrations, they attracted the attention of buyers.


During the exhibition period, the 25 companies at the KBIZ Pavilion conducted 408 consultations worth approximately 32 million USD. Additionally, a total of 10 export purchase agreements worth 15.5 million USD were signed.


Lee Eun-cheon, Executive Director of Taylor Farms, a functional beverage manufacturer, said, "Through participation in this exhibition, we signed an export purchase agreement worth 5 million USD with a buyer based in Switzerland, achieving our first entry into the European market." He added, "We expect even greater results in the future through consultations with buyers of various nationalities, including those from Austria, Germany, Hungary, the United Kingdom, and France."


Choo Moon-gap, Head of the Economic Policy Division at Kbiz, stated, "At the Korean Products Expo, the largest in Europe, we created an opportunity for Korean entrepreneurs worldwide and domestic SMEs to cooperate in pioneering export markets." He emphasized, "Kbiz will continue to spare no effort in supporting the overseas expansion of small and medium enterprises."
