On October 31, a video titled "This is how you get it for free! But now... also accompanied by a meeting with 00..." was uploaded on the National Police Agency's YouTube channel. In the video, two female customers entering an unmanned store immediately picked up snacks placed next to the entrance and put them into their pants pockets without paying.
They then took a shopping basket provided in the store and filled it with various snacks including ice cream, and were seen picking up and putting down pet snacks as well. After selecting all the items, they brought the basket to the checkout counter, scanned each item's barcode, and put them into a bag. However, they only scanned the barcodes without completing the payment and left the store. There was even a theft warning sign and a conscience mirror right next to the checkout counter.

Fortunately, their actions were all recorded on the closed-circuit television (CCTV) installed inside and outside the store. The police, who responded to the report, analyzed the CCTV footage and checked the vehicle the women used, leading to their arrest. It is known that they voluntarily appeared and admitted to the crime.
Netizens who saw this reacted with comments such as "They have a strong heart," "Thinking they wouldn't get caught in a CCTV heaven," "Do we need to teach again that you have to pay when you buy something," "Even though it was reported that all theft cases in unmanned stores are caught, these incidents keep happening," and "Unmanned stores have become a new test of character."
