'School of Agricultural Officers' Graduation Ceremony for 27 Students
"Expected to Play a Central Role in Future Agriculture"

Damyang-gun "Supporting Stable Settlement of Young Farmers" Jeonnam Damyang-gun held the graduation ceremony for the 1st class of the "Agricultural Officer School" to support the stable settlement of young farmers at the Damyang-gun Agricultural Technology Center on the 31st of last month.

On the 1st, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it had completed the graduation ceremony for the first class of the 'Damyang-gun Agricultural Officer School,' which is being promoted as one of the pledges of the 8th local government, at the Damyang-gun Agricultural Technology Center on the 31st of last month.


The graduation ceremony marked the first fruition of the Agricultural Officer School, which has been promoted over the past two years since last year, and the 27 graduating students are expected to play a central role in the future of Damyang agriculture.


The Damyang Agricultural Officer School provided various educational programs so that young farmers could systematically acquire agricultural technology and learn practical management know-how to settle stably in the region.


In particular, students acquired various skills including theory covering rice farming, field farming overall, crops and physiology, advanced site visits, on-site training with leading farmers of strawberries and tomatoes, and practical agricultural life basics such as basic agricultural law, electrical management, and agricultural product photography techniques that can be applied directly in the agricultural field.


The graduation ceremony was attended by County Governor Lee Byeong-no, county officials, and senior farmers who celebrated the growth of young farmers and supported their future activities.


Governor Lee Byeong-no emphasized, "We expect that the graduates of this Agricultural Officer School will play a significant role in the development of Damyang-gun agriculture," and added, "We will continue to spare no support so that young farmers can successfully settle down."
