Following this, Lee Jung-pil, director of the Energy and Climate Policy Research Institute, gave a presentation on ‘Yeosu City Solar Power Policy and Agrivoltaics,’ explaining solar power utilization methods and carbon reduction models, and proposed feasible application plans for Yeosu City.

Opinions were expressed from various perspectives, and passionate discussions were held to prepare policies tailored to regional characteristics and plans for the dissemination of renewable energy.
Chairman Park Doo-hyung stated, “We will strive to ensure that the contents obtained through the study of excellent carbon neutrality policy cases are reflected in policies.” Representative Yoo Pil-seon, who is also the head of the research group and the chair of the forum, said, “Yeosu City cannot be free from the climate crisis and carbon neutrality, and it must lead to practical actions rather than a simple declaration of carbon neutrality.”
The Yeosu City Council will continue to improve related ordinances and establish effective policies for enhancing the quality of life of Yeosu citizens and achieving sustainable urban development through carbon neutrality.
