"Hyundai Motor to Accelerate Hydrogen Car Popularization with Hydrogen Electric Concept Car Exhibition"

Hyundai Motor Company exhibited the hydrogen electric concept car Inisium at the 3rd Hydrogen Day event held on the 1st at Sebitseom in Banpo, Seoul. This model, unveiled the day before, embodies the direction of the next-generation hydrogen electric vehicle Nexo, which is scheduled to be released in the first half of next year.

This event was held for the first time since Hydrogen Day was designated as a national commemorative day. Hyundai is focusing on new car development to take the lead in the hydrogen mobility sector, including launching the world's first mass-produced hydrogen electric vehicle.


The new car to be introduced next year has been refined with enhanced hydrogen vehicle technologies, such as extended driving range and improved performance, the company explained. The intention is to accelerate the popularization of hydrogen vehicles.

The company stated, "We will strive to bring various changes to the daily lives of the public through hydrogen energy, from resource-circulating hydrogen production to charging infrastructure, centered on the newly introduced hydrogen electric vehicle."
